CitroVM - Privacy Policy

CitroVM is a service developed and provided by Antoni Kędracki. This privacy policy will explain the handling of any personal data that gets collect from you when you use the CitroVM website and the CitroVM application (referred collectively as "CitroVM").

What data does CitroVM collect?

CitroVM may collect the following data:

  • Basic personal identification information: name, username, email address
  • Device information: IP address, operating system, system language, device model/serial number, browser vendor/version, etc
  • Logs: crash reports and log information about how you access or use CitroVM, including your access times, interactions with components and including the device information listed above

Note: Virtual machines you create inside the CitroVM application are not transmitted out from your device. Some metadata about the creation and usage of this contnet may be part of the Log data mentioned above.

How does CitroVM collect your data?

You directly provide CitroVM with most of the collect data. Specifically when you:

  • Use the application or view the website via your browser.
  • Place an order for any license via our 3rd party partners.
  • Participate in a test program for CitroVM directly or via our 3rd party partners.
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.

CitroVM may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources (referred above as 3rd party partners):

  • Apple Inc., located at One Apple Park Way, Cupertino, California, USA, and its affiliates
  • RevenueCat Inc., located at 237 A St. PMB 65402 San Diego, California, USA and its affiliates

How will we use your data?

CitroVM collects your data so that we can:

  • Process your order and manage your license.
  • Provide you with assistance should you request support from us.
  • Email you with important product updates.
  • Improve on the services CitroVM provides.

How does CitroVM store your data?

CitroVM hosts its backend components at DigitalOcean, LLC. Any data that gets transmitted to us will be stored securely at one of DigitalOceans datacenters. CitroVM will keep your data until it is deleted or until Service is discontinued.

Some data related to the order process may be stored at our 3rd party partners.

The CitroVM application makes use of the Apple App-Sandbox environment to store data and content that is not being transmitted.

Marketing

CitroVM will not use the collected information for marketing purposes unrelated to CitroVM. We may send you information about new versions of CitroVM, security related bugs, updates to pricing, updates to policies, etc.

What are your data protection rights?

CitroVM would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

  • The right to access – You have the right to request CitroVM for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
  • The right to rectification – You have the right to request that CitroVM correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request CitroVM to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
  • The right to erasure – You have the right to request that CitroVM erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that CitroVM restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to CitroVM’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to data portability – You have the right to request that CitroVM transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
